There’s a special buzz in the air this time of year in Saint Charles. The weather is warming up, the days are getting longer, and people are no longer cooped up inside. Cyclists have returned to the Katy Trail, shoppers are refreshing their spring wardrobes at local boutiques, and Main Street patios are busy with people reveling in the joy of a warm spring day. You know what that means, Main Street in Bloom is just around the corner!
The ultimate spring festival returns May 9 & 10 for a vibrant weekend full of colorful floral displays, performances and family-friendly activities on Historic Main Street. Hosted by Main Street’s small businesses, festivities include a children’s parade and a Maypole dance on Saturday, and face painting, crafts, and photo ops all weekend long. Participate in the Daisy Flower Hunt from May 2-10 for a chance to win a toy and an entry in a Main Street gift card giveaway. Conveniently planned for Mother’s Day weekend, it’s a great festival to spend special time with your mom. Check out our Spring Bucket List for more ideas of how you can make the most of the season!
