Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in St. Charles at the family-friendly parade on Main Street. On March 17th at 4 PM, the City of St. Charles and the St. Charles division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians host their annual parade celebrating the Patron Saint of Ireland, St. Patrick. A sea of green descends onto Main Street as floats and walking groups march through the historic district. Follow the sound of bagpipes and grab a good spot to get a good view of the action. The parade begins at the Lewis & Clark Boat House and Museum, goes up Boone’s Lick Road to Main Street, where it then ends at Clark Street.
