‘Tis the season in St. Charles! Saint Charles Christmas Traditions®' 50th season is right around the corner. With opening day on November 29th, it’s time to plan your trip and get ready to celebrate the holidays in our charming historic district.
Some of the most iconic figures of holiday history, literature, and folklore travel from their fanciful realms to spend the season on Main Street. Interact with the Legends of Christmas on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from opening day through December 24. Participate in the Battle for the Land of the Sweets with the Sugarplum Fairy, learn the finer points of window frosting with Jack Frost, and help Jacob Marley change the heart of Ebenezer Scrooge.
During the season on Wednesday nights, Historic Main Street turns into the streets of 1840s London for “A Christmas Carol” Stroll. Memorable scenes and characters hop off the page as you become a part of the story.
We have some fun festivities planned to celebrate the 50th anniversary that you don’t want to miss (did somebody say exclusive merch, special ticketed events, a documentary, and special exhibits?) What are you waiting for? Grab your wassail and fire-roasted chestnuts and make this year the best Christmas yet.
