| Fête de Glacé Returns! |
| Just because the holidays are over doesn’t mean that the festivals stop in St. Charles. Bundle up and venture on out to Historic North Main Street for Fête de Glacé on January 27th from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Watch as ice carvers turn plain blocks of ice into stunning masterpieces with just a few tools. There are two categories: single-block carving and five-block team carving. The best part is, you get to be the judge! Vote for your favorite in each category and see if it wins the grand prize. Last year’s winners carved an angel fish and a dragon out of ice. As you wait to see the final pieces, warm up with a hot cup of coffee in a coffee shop or café, a warm bowl of soup from a local restaurant, or hunt for deals in the shops on Main Street. Don't miss Bowls & Brews which will be on Main Street at the same time. Enjoy some of the best tasting chili and beer in town and vote for your favorite. This is Fête de Glacé’s 25th anniversary and special activities are planned to celebrate. Embrace the cold in St. Charles and experience all that Main Street has to offer this winter. |

| Experience the enchantment of Once Upon a Valentine™: Stories for the Loved & Loveless on February 10th and 11th from noon to 3 PM. This mini-festival promises an array of activities embracing both the adoration and playful disdain for Valentine's Day traditions. Meet different romance-centered characters and collect postcard-sized valentines from various activity locations. |
| FIRST FRIDAY HEART MART |
| Shop for your sweetheart at Heart Mart at the Foundry Art Centre. On February 2nd from 5 PM to 8 PM, vendors with handmade gifts will be set up in the grand hall where you can find the perfect gift for your special someone. Seize the moment and get a flash tattoo on-site from Frenchtown Tattoo. Enjoy live music from Polly and the Pocket as you shop. | MARDI GRAS PARADE & AFTER PARTY |
| Join us in Frenchtown on February 10th for a family-friendly Mardi Gras celebration. A festive parade will march down Second Street at 11 AM followed by an after party featuring live music, food, vendors, kids activities, and more in the Foundry Art Centre parking lot from 12 PM to 2 PM. Get your face painted, your fortune read, and sit in awe at the exciting strolling magic table. |
