Get into the holiday spirit every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday now through December 24th with this unique blend of storytelling, history, and fairytale whimsy that has been in St. Charles for nearly half a century.

The fun doesn’t stop there! Craft your own frozen masterpiece with Jack Frost at Sundaes with Jack Frost & Friends at Freezer’s Palace. Or, on Wednesday evenings during Saint Charles Christmas Traditions®, head to Main Street to travel back in time to the foggy streets of 1840’s London for “A Christmas Carol” Stroll. Walk in the footsteps of Ebenezer Scrooge as memorable scenes and characters come to life before your very eyes. Don’t forget to head out to Historic Missouri Wine Country this holiday season. Christmas candlelight walks, festive workshops, parades, and more, turn the towns of Augusta, Defiance, and New Melle into Christmas villages.

"A Christmas Carol" Stroll
Saint Charles Christmas Traditions® welcomes you to visit Main Street Wednesday evenings through 12/24 for a new Dickensian affair. Behold as our Main Street USA is transformed into the foggy streets of 1840s London where you are invited to enter the world of Charles Dickens’ enduring holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. Follow the path through the historic district as the plot unfolds. Keep a sharp lookout for surprises as you have run-ins with a variety of unique citizens of Victorian England.

The Katy Depot has been transformed into Santa’s Cottage and Train Land. Make your way down to visit the elves, explore the trains, and get a photo with Santa.
SANTA SNAP
LAS POSADAS
This candle-lit procession on Saturday, December 2 starts at 6:30pm at the intersection of Boone's Lick Road and South Main Street. It proceeds on Main Street, with on-lookers lighting the way for “Mary and Joseph” as they seek shelter at the “inn”.
